Funding rate
STAR funding rate, live
The current-period funding rate for the STAR/USDT perpetual on LBank, plus which side of the market pays this period. Straight from the exchange WebSocket.
Funding on STAR is a payment exchanged between long and short traders every 8 hours to keep the perpetual near spot. A positive rate means longs pay; a negative rate means shorts pay. None of it goes to the exchange.
Prices are not up to date
No fresh data is arriving from the exchange. Until the real stream returns, no number is shown — deliberately. A stale number that looks live is worse than no number.

That shorts are paying longs and the perpetual is trading below spot. It is usually seen during periods of selling pressure.
